S.O.L.O. (Singles Overcoming Life’s Obstacles) is Calvary’s ministry to never-married, divorced, and widowed men and women. S.O.L.O. members connect through the Word of God, praise and worship, fellowship, and service to others. Under the leadership of Pastor Jacqui Dominick, S.O.L.O. is a vibrant ministry of encouragement and growth.
S.O.L.O. meets Sunday nights at 6:00pm for a Singles Empowerment Session, a fun and intensive study of what the Word of God has to say about such topics as:
- Dating & Waiting
- Intimacy With The Father
- Identifying The Counterfeit
- Let’s Be Friends First
- Learning To Be Alone
- I’m Not The Bank, So Don’t Deposit!
S.O.L.O. fellowships together the first Friday night of every month (game or movie night, pizza & bowling, jazz seafood fest, comedians, praise & prayer, etc.). Additionally, S.O.L.O. regularly hosts a Singles’ Prayer Breakfast (featuring special guests) and also sponsors various events and conferences at Calvary. Other opportunities involve fellowship with other Singles ministries in our area as well as attending various conferences, retreats, and cruises.
